No. 24 UNF Women’s Tennis Championship 4-0

Tallahassee, Florida – 24and-The ranked FSU women’s tennis team won a midweek match against UNF on Tuesday afternoon. The Seminoles cruised to a 4-0 victory, which included a top-50 singles victory over Petra Hule, to improve to 5-2 on the season before opening ACC play.

FSU took a 1-0 lead with a 2-0 doubles win. Olympe Lancelot and Lesedi Jacobs gave the Seminoles their first win with a 6-4 win. It was the duo’s second straight win in doubles. Hule and Anna Arkadianou were next with a 6-3 victory to clinch the point and move to 3-0 on the year together.

Hule picked up a big win on the first singles court to give the Seminoles a 2-0 lead. The nation 22n/a-the ranked singles player beat the nation’s No. 32 in impressive fashion with a 6-2 win, 6-1 moving to 6-0 in doubles at the front row. Kianah Motosono put FSU up 3-0 with a straight-sets victory of their own 6-3, 6-1 victory. Oklahoma’s transfer is now off to a 4-1 doubles start to the season. Arkadiou then closed the match on court four with a 6-3, 6-4 win.
