Flames Central won two Emmy Awards with wins in the Sports Program (Matt Warner) and Graphic Arts (Austin Reddington) categories following the June 26 ceremony. With these victories, Flames Central has won at least one Emmy in the past six consecutive years. The show’s collection of Emmys now stands at 10 since the program began seven years ago.
Liberty Sports Flames Central nominated for eight Emmy Awards

Flame Center, Liberty University’s sports television show dedicated to in-depth coverage of student-athletes and teams, has been nominated for eight Emmy Awards, the highest number in the program’s history.
The show has already won a total of eight Emmy Awards over the past five years, presented in recognition of achievement in a particular sector of the television industry, and will look to add more to its trophy on June 26, when the This year’s winners will be announced.
The weekly sports show is produced and hosted by Matt Warner and co-hosted by Rett McGibbon and Emily Austen.
“We are really delighted that our show is receiving this recognition,†said Warner. “Receiving nominations in eight different categories just shows the talent we have at Flames Central. It was a pleasure to be able to present the stories of Liberty Athletics to so many people. “
The program airs on over 22 affiliate stations across the country, with live premieres on Fridays on ESPN + at 2 p.m. EST and archives of past shows available on his website. Locally, Flames fans can watch the Sunday show on WDBJ at 11:35 p.m. and WSET at 12:30 p.m.
