LAS CRUCES – The New Mexico Department of Health’s public health units in the southwest region will provide free back-to-school vaccinations by appointment or walk-in.
The COVID-19 vaccination will also be available for parents and students aged 12 and over.

Parents or guardians can bring their child to any of the locations listed by the start of the school year in August. Students must be up to date with their childhood vaccinations in order to attend school.
Las Cruces Public Health Unit at 1170 N. Solano Drive.
- Mondays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., without appointment
- Tuesday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., by appointment
- From July 24, the Las Cruces public health service will be open five days a week for walk-in visits. It will be in partnership with Got Shots? campaign which will run until August 14.
