The Culver City Education Foundation has successfully raised thousands of dollars throughout 2020-2021 to support exceptional learning opportunities for over 7,000 students at each CCUSD school. On June 8, 2021, CCEF Executive Director Wendy Hamill presented a check for $ 180,000 to the CCUSD Board of Directors.

Ms. Hamill said, “We are extremely grateful for the generous support of the CCEF donors over the past year, who recognize the importance of investing in our schools and the success of our students. Contributing to our annual campaign and attending our fundraising events helps provide the essential funding needed to provide inspiring and impactful programs throughout the district. “

Funding was made possible in part by two successful events, the SIP for Our Schools in September 2020 and a Drive-In Movie screening in May, kicking off the year of CCEF’s 40th anniversary.

Thank you to all the donors of the CCEF 2020-21 for making this support possible! The funds will be used to support and develop essential programs and resources in each CCUSD school, such as the Front & Center Theater Collaborative, Music Education, School Gardens, Robotics Teams, Academic Support and more. These opportunities would not exist without your donations to the CCEF.
