2. Information: Financial insurance: Monitoring of post-16 financing for 2021 to 2022

The newly enhanced post-16 surveillance dashboard is now available and contains the first full data set for the 2021-2022 academic year, following R04 ILR submissions from vendors.

We have also started sharing data with decentralized authorities to help them manage their adult offering and identify specific issues they might need to follow up with providers.

Through feedback and consultation from a range of vendors, key changes were made to the dashboard, including:

  • Suppliers can now select filters from the landing page and download data from the first tab, making data access more immediate.

  • We are currently testing a new RAG assessment and have highlighted “Average Requests by Objective” and “Average Requests per Learner” in red, orange, or green to help you understand the magnitude and severity of the number of requests generated from of your data submissions. . We appreciate your feedback on how you find this useful.

  • In the ‘actions you need to take’ box on the landing page, we’ve grouped these reports together to further clarify where the recovery will be done at the end of the year and where we can ask you for evidence.

  • There is a new “Additional Info” tab that displays data on subcontractors, related to all queries and a breakdown of total figures by funding stream. This will help you identify other specific issues to make sure your data is correct.

  • We have published a Known Issues Log which is now kept in the Dashboard, for the first time, to make it easier to access this information.

We are still on track to include school census data in the dashboard in spring 2022.

Over the next few months, we’ll be posting tips and advice on how to get the most out of the dashboard and use a wider range of media for it, such as Twitter and LinkedIn, to reach as many of our providers as possible. post-16 education and training. as possible and promote the regular use of Funding Rules Reports.
