Likewise, the IUN plans to use its grants to provide Hispanic STEM students with early research opportunities, comprehensive academic and student support services, mentoring, enhanced community partnerships, and the establishment of a new learning center. STEM resources through its TRIUNFOS (Transforming IU Northwest for Opportunities in STEM), which translates to “triumphs†in English.

Approximately 550 undergraduates attend CCJS. About half are first-generation students, according to records.
Enrollment at the IUN this year is approximately 3,500, with one in four students of Hispanic origin.
