The Kane County Association for Home and Community Education comes together on Wednesday, May 18 to celebrate the 104th year of organizing under the year’s theme, “Aspire to Inspire.”
Activities are scheduled at Carmina’s Restaurant, 1055 N. Randall Road in Elgin.
State officers will be present to install county officers who began their term Jan. 1.
Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. The business meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a lunch at noon followed by moderator Jeorge Holmes.
Holmes loves to entertain and inspire his audience with his personality and vocal performance. His baritone-tenor range spans from Elvis to Pavarotti, Blues to Broadway, Pop to Opera, Christian Gospel to Big Band and in between.
