Abdul said that she will pray that Bainimarama will lead the nation until she reaches her higher education as she would like to receive her awards in his hands.

She also wished Bainimarama good health.

While sharing Abdul’s post on his Facebook page, Bainimarama thanked Abdul, saying his words are a reminder of why his government has helped all children, especially young girls, to climb as high as their ambition can take them.

Abdul had further congratulated the Fiji 7s team for winning the Singapore 7s which Bainimarama had posted jokingly “I just hope she didn’t get up too late to watch the rugby!”.

Meanwhile, in his earlier message to all students, Bainimarama reminded them to focus on their studies.

“It’s a new school year, it’s a new school year and we’re having a fresh start, so remember three things. Be safe, be kind to each other and do your best in all things. If you remember this, school will be a joy for everyone.

While delivering a message to parents, teachers and students, Bainimarama emphasized that bullying behavior will not be tolerated inside and outside school premises.

Bainimarama also urged parents to give their full support to their children’s education.
