Over the Labor Day weekend, the second Quad RA who spoke to the DP said they felt it was necessary to monitor the door themselves after seeing large numbers of intoxicated students returning to the Quad after the Made in America music festival.

The second RA told the DP that several phone calls were made to Penn Police on September 5, and said a supervisor who picked up the phone responded that they couldn’t spare additional officers for the door. Several RAs said staff on duty had returned to normal in recent weeks and that Allied Universal Quad guards were more closely following COVID-19 security protocols.
