YSR Telangana party leader YS Sharmila made controversial comments about Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao comparing governance to donkey farming and accused him of sleeping on the farm, leaving people out .

On the fourth day of her padayatra on Saturday, she walked 7.5 miles from Poshettyguda to Nagaram in the Maheshwaram mandal. During her interaction with people, she asked them if they were happy with the government deceiving people about free education from KG to PG, unemployment benefit, rising fuel prices.

According to a party statement, some young people could not control their tears while explaining how they had become a burden on unemployed parents. They would have complained that the houses with double rooms were left with only a promise while pensions were refused under one pretext or another.

Reacting to people’s plight, Ms. Sharmila said that except for KCR’s family, no one in the state is happy. The chief minister has made money on behalf of irrigation projects and is spending the money and resources of the entire state in a few constituencies. She said Mr. Rao should explain how much the state government is making from rising fuel prices, instead of just blaming the Center.

She said the government of YS Rajashekhar Reddy built 46 lakh houses in just five years and brought in Arogyasri, bringing hospital treatment to poor people. She promised free education and free medical facilities to everyone if she was elected to power.
