Co-Founder and Director of Education Development Ms. Abiola Chinyere Jane advised students to strive for excellence and stay focused on their academic pursuit. She said this at the 10th Anniversary and Graduation Ceremony of Bijamic Schools, Badore Ajah Lagos.

The event on the theme: “Total transformation” brought together several actors from the education sector. Abiola said young people affect society globally and the biggest changes happen when young people refuse to give up.

She urged the 25 graduate students to be good ambassadors for the school; maintain reading habits and be law abiding.
She said: “Ten years is a big milestone. We have been through thick and thin. And it’s so gratifying to see that we are achieving our goal of educating and preparing students to become future world leaders. Our school is a school where no child is left behind.

“Last year, the COVID-19 pandemic affected the convening of the year-end session and the graduation ceremony. So today we celebrate the end of the 2020/2021 academic session. We have recorded a lot of achievements academically, morally and totally with a positive transformation of the school.

Special guest Mr. Adeyemi Adebayo, Director of Public-Private Partnership, Lagos State Ministry of Education, revealed that the Lagos State Government has continued to spearhead the ’empowerment of teachers and students around the world, as it aspires to be a 21st century economy, creating a quality workforce. necessary for the future.

He called on parents and school authorities to embrace digital culture and refrain from raising children the old fashioned way as they are 21st century races with digital directions and for future digital jobs. “If we don’t embrace technology, we’ll be overwhelmed in a few years,” he said.

Adebayo explained that Lagos State is committed to equality, bridging the gap between rich and poor, ensuring access to quality education for all children.

Mr. Abiola Bolarinwa, Director of Bijamic Schools, congratulated the parents, the Parents / Teachers Association and others who have supported the school over the years, especially during the pre and post pandemic periods. He also appreciated the professional teachers and non-teaching staff who have worked with the school over the years.
