The Management Committee of Dogra College of Education publishes College magazine ‘Shikshak’.

BARI BRAHMANA, December 11: The Dogra College of Education (DCE) Management Committee meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman of the Dogra Education Trust (DET).
The meeting was attended by Prof. Rajni Kant, Director of College Development Council (CDC), University of Jammu (JU); Teacher. Seema Langar, Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences, JU; Teacher. Suresh Sharma, Govt. University College, Ghagwal; Brig. MS Jamwal (retired), Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Samar Dev Singh Charak, DET secretary; Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal DCE and Indu Puri, Senior Lecturer, DCE.
All members were informed by the Director of the College of the innovative activities undertaken by the staff and students to achieve the goals and objectives of the course pursued at DCE.
On this occasion, the 14th volume of College magazine ‘Shikshak’ was published by the members of the management committee.
For the 2021-23 academic session, Dogra Group of Colleges announced a complete reduction in fees for COVID-19 orphans who lost their parents in a pandemic. Thus, 9 places in 6 courses were announced for free with two places each in the BA LLB 5 years course and the LLB 3 years (Prof) course at Dogra Law College, two places in the B.Ed course at Dogra College of Education and one seat each in the BBA course, the B Com course and the BA course at Dogra Degree College.
Apart from this, other facilities such as college study and reading materials will be provided to these students free of charge, which will also include the university libraries book bank, a set of two uniforms, a hostel and a free messes for students of the station the criterion of concessions.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks from Dr Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Director.
