Every day, the leaders of the Taliban terrorist organization speak to the media to assure the peaceful agenda they wish to pursue after taking control of the country by force. The words they speak will cause a tyrant to relinquish his powers. But, only the natives truly understand the daily horrors they have to go through.

Mr. Sayed Sayedy, is a life coach, mediator, peace activist and humanitarian, shares his life story. He talks about his efforts to help all those in need when he himself was forced to leave his homeland with his brother just because he was trying to help others.

“Afghanistan is a very beautiful country. Everyone lives there as a united family. But now it is all a distant memory. Every day is full of despair. When you wake up, you don’t know which family member or friend to talk to again.‘Sayed talks about an emotion most of us can only imagine. He talks about the crimes against humanity that are committed against his compatriots in Afghanistan.

Sayed is a young humanitarian and peace activist who has dedicated his life to helping others as his life is turned upside down. Sharing his concerns, he mentions,“Afghanistan or the Afghans need education and development projects as well as civil peace projects. My biggest concern is that illiteracy is increasing in Afghanistan and with it increasing radicalization. We know that under the Taliban women are oppressed, and this illiteracy mainly affects women and girls there.

It should be mentioned that Sayed has worked with various institutions despite his surprisingly young age. He has worked in educational projects such as “Institute for International Cooperation of the German Association for Adult Education” (DVV International) in the field of youth education and empowerment, and the ” Korea Vocational Training Center “(KVTC) of Korea International Cooperation. (KOICA), where he also completed an apprenticeship at Bagram military air base.

While this experience and background sounds impressive, to say the least, this is just a glimpse. He has a lot more feathers in his cap, but he lives in fear every day. He mentions that all he can do is hope things get better when he talks about his plight. “I wish I could go back and help my friends and family in the Taliban. Every day we receive regular updates on people we know encountering the worst fate imaginable. I have studied and learned to help people in such situations, but I feel so helpless. I can just hope that eventually things will get better.
